It is fitting that the very title of our repository of future swipes and pilferings should be stolen. The original Library of Larceny is a series published by Broadway Books and edited by Luc Sante. It aims “to restore property crime to its full, glorious stature” and features stories of ingenious con men and Ponzi schemers.
Our purview is more modest. We needed a convenient place to aggregate our various sources and a safe haven to confess our shameless appropriations. You are now our accomplices.
